Det er 2050 og du bor på en institusjon. Hvordan ser rommet ditt ut?
As a 65 year old, I’m living in an institute designed specifically for Australians who think they’re actually Norwegian. My room is adorned with images of brunost, fjords and blonde people dressed in ‘Bergans’ clothing. Nordlys are projected onto the ceiling.

Hva var favorittplata di i 1990, 2010 og 2050?
1990: I was in kindergarten, so I can’t remember. However, in 1992 my grade two teacher played Down on the Corner by Creedence Clearwater everyday and we would run around the classroom touching corners.
2010: Kings of Convenience - Riot on an Empty Street
2050: Pet Shop Boys - Losing my Mind

Har du noen gang hatt et akvarium?
When I moved from Tasmania to live the ‘big city life’ in Sydney, I celebrated by adopting a goldfish called Flair.

Du jobber som skuespiller. Anser du jobben din som viktig , ”viktig” eller uviktig? Er du misunnelig på arbeidsbetingelsene til andre i kompaniet?
I try not to intellectualise art too much. People create and see art for a variety of reasons, but essentially for me being a performer is about the immediate, personal exchange and shared relationship with the audience. The OBI ensemble has a fun, creative common dialogue which is nourishing rather than envy inducing!

Dersom du kunne velge: Ville du bytta ut etternavnet ditt med Olsen? Hvorfor/hvorfor ikke?
Yes! Olsen may be a common name in Norway, but in Australia I would be so unique. Amy Olsen.

Gul er en sentral farge i ballettinstituttet. Hva er den mest sentrale fargen i ditt liv?
Purple. Also red. But not together.
